Principle

• Do not use in environments with severe vibration and strong electromagnetic interference.
• Do not test objects beyond the instrument’s measuring range to avoid equipment damage.
• The power supply shall be in accordance with the product nameplate, with independent and reliable earthing. The neutral wire and earth wire shall not be mixed or connected together.
• Avoid sharing the same circuit with high-power equipment.
• Operators must read this manual carefully to understand the installation process and master all operation requirements.

Maintenance

• Cut off the power supply after the test is completed.
• Handle and move the instrument with care to prevent collision and damage.
• Follow the product nameplate for standard power supply use and ensure reliable earthing. The neutral wire and earth wire shall not be mixed or connected together. Avoid sharing the same circuit with high-power equipment.
• Keep the instrument clean and cover the entire unit with a dust cloth when not in use.
• On the basis of being familiar with this manual and electrical principles, operators may perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting with the cooperation of the manufacturer’s maintenance personnel. The manufacturer’s personnel must cut off the power supply before overhauling the instrument; live operation is strictly forbidden.
• Conduct precision calibration at intervals in accordance with relevant specifications.
• No private disassembly by the user is allowed.

Special Notes

• Wipe the measuring head, lower anvil and other parts in contact with the sample with alcohol cotton balls before each operation.
• Ensure the surrounding environment meets the requirements when measuring samples; otherwise, the test accuracy will be affected.
• This is a high-precision testing instrument; all operations must be performed gently.

A: The displacement sensor of this Condom Width Tester is replaceable, and only the sensor models designated by the manufacturer are allowed for replacement. The sensor is uniquely matched with the machine’s control board and cannot be interchanged with other sensors of the same type. Each sensor has a corresponding set of calibration data stored in the control board. Random sensor replacement will lead to inaccurate measurement data. Therefore, please use the original standard sensors provided by the manufacturer, or ensure the new sensor is calibrated before use.
